Former Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir and Former Union Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad today attended the Joint Parliamentary Committee meeting on the One Nation, One Election (ONOE) Bill.

In a post on X, Ghulam Nabi wrote, Attended the Joint Parliamentary Committee meeting on the One Nation, One Election (ONOE) Bill. ONOE could act as a natural deterrent to defections, strengthening political stability.”
“It can also significantly reduce election expenditure and ease the burden on administrative machinery and security forces from continuous electoral cycles,”the post reads.
