Two civilians were injured in cross border shelling in Manjakote sector of Rajouri district on Tuesday.

SHO Manjkote Manzoor Kohli told that two civilians were injured after pakistan violated ceasefire by shelling in Manjkote sector.

He identified the injured persons as Mohd Rafiq Son of Ali Hayder Khan and Sania Shabir 13 yearold daughter of Mohd Shabir both resident of Khorinar Rajdhani. Both the injured were shifted to GMC Rajouri for treatment, the officer said.

Meanwhile Naib Tehsildar Manjkote Aftab Hussain Shah told that three houses were also damaged due to shelling.

He further said four sheep were also injured in this incident and many other houses developed cracks due to splinters. ( GNS )
