Jammu, Nov 02 : A girl was raped by a person on marriage pretext in a hotel in Jewel Jammu district on Wednesday.

Reliable sources told that a girl lodged a complaint with Police Station Nowabad stating that a person identified as Raman, a resident of Tehsil Bishnah made physical relations with her in a hotel in Jewel on the pretext of marriage but later refused.
Acting over the complaint, a case under section 376 IPC has been registered at Police Station and investigation started.
