SRINAGAR: The Medical Faculty Association, GMC Srinagar elected a new body in the recently concluded elections.
The newly elected office bearers are: Prof (Dr) Afroz Ahmad Khan as the president, Prof (Dr) Naveed Nazir Shah as the vice president, Dr Arshad Rashid as the general secretary, Dr Mudasir Malik as joint secretary and Dr Nissar Ahmad Naikoo as the treasurer.
The other members elected to the executive body were: Prof (Dr) Syed Masooma Rizvi as professor representative, Dr Arshi Taj & Dr Fahim Manzoor as associate professor representative and Dr Mohd Ansarul Haq Lone & Dr Syed Faisal Andrabi as assistant professor representative.
Under the special provisions of the constitution of MFA, the President nominated Prof (Dr) Altaf Ahmad Kawoosa as another professor representative.
