Government to introduce bill on appointment of Election Commissioners; Opposition raises red flag

A Bill to regulate the appointment, conditions of service and term of office of the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners is on the agenda on the government for introduction in Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

Union Minister of Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal is slated to introduce the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Bill, 2023.(ANI)
