Governor administers Oath to P.L Gupta and Gazzanfer Hussain as Chief Vigilance Commissioner and Vigilance Commissioner

Srinagar, Oct 27, 2017, Kashmir Pen : Governor N. N. Vohra, administered the Oath of Office to Sh. P.L. Gupta to serve as Chief Vigilance Commissioner and to Sh. Gazzanfer Hussain to serve as one of the two Commissioners in the State Vigilance Commission, at a function held at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Governor congratulated Sh. Gupta and Sh. Hussain and wished them successful tenures ahead. As Sh. Gupta has earlier rich experience of working as the State Vigilance Officer, Governor hoped that the Commission shall become effectively functional without any loss of time.

Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh, Deputy Chief Minister; Sh. Omar Abdullah, former Chief Minister,  Sh. Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, State Chief Information Commissioner; Sh. Pramod Kumar Jain, Vice-Chairman, J&K  IMPARD ; Sh. B. B. Vyas, Chief Secretary;  Sh. Jeet Lal Gupta, Chairperson, State Commission for Backward Classes Sh. Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to Governor; Sh. R.K. Goyal, Principal Secretary Home; Sh. Rohit Kansal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister; Sh. S.J.M. Gillani, Director Vigilance;  and family member of Sh. Hussain were among those present at the Oath Ceremony.
