Govt orders mass promotion of class 1 to 9 and class 11 students of Jammu division

Mass promotion also for students who were to appear in bi-annual/private class 11 in Kashmir.

The authorities in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday decided to give mass promotion to the students from classes 1st to 9th and for class 11th in Jammu division in view of the prevailing situation due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.

The order was issued today by deputy secretary to the government, school education department, Jammu and Kashmir.

The government has also directed that the students who were to appear in bi-annual/private Class 11 examination in Kashmir division also be considered for mass promotion—(KNO)
