Skål International Kashmir successfully carried out a Grand Plantation Drive as part of its continued commitment towards promoting a greener and more sustainable future.
On *Day 4 of the ongoing plantation initiative, more than *1,500 plants were planted across multiple locations, significantly contributing to environmental conservation and spreading awareness about the importance of preserving nature.
📍 Location: Ratsuna, Beerwah
The plantation drive was formally flagged off by *Mr. Raja Waseem, Joint Director Tourism Kashmir, in the esteemed presence of *Mr. Nisar Ahmad, Deputy Director Tourism Kashmir.
This initiative was conducted in collaboration with Government Boys Higher Secondary School Beerwah, reflecting a strong sense of community participation and collective responsibility towards environmental protection.
The event is part of a larger plantation campaign organized in collaboration with the Environmental Policy Group (EPG) under the leadership of Mr. Faiz Bakshi Sahib, further strengthening efforts towards sustainable tourism and ecological balance in the region.
A unique highlight of the drive was that each tree planted was dedicated to members of Skål International India, in recognition of their continued support in promoting Kashmir as one of the most sought-after tourist destinations globally.
