Continuing with its weekly engagements Fiction Writers’ Guild members and literary enthusiasts assembled again for the session. The session was marked by the presence of persons of eminence like Prof. Majrooh Rashid, writer and critique , Ms. Shehzadi Simon former director Door Darshan Srinagar, renowned poet, author and actor Bashir Dada, added grace to the presidium.

To give flip to the proceedings Dr. Neelofar Nehvi was with her Fiction Tehreer titled .
“Gudum az gundum broyed jaw zi jaw”
This was followed by Kashmiri story ‘Kawa Shetch’ by journalist and writer Riyaz Masroor. The audience remained rivetted till the end as Riyaz used his oratory skills while reading the story .The story was applauded for its theme , craft and language used.
Second story in English title “Story number 17 ” was presented by Arshad Mushtaq ,a prominent theatre personality. The story went through the process of analysis and those present had their views on the story viz story line ,rich literary language used and the theme .
Prominent literary figure Bashir Dada presented his un titled Kashmiri short story .The gripping details and poignant plot kept the audience glued to the author till the end. Various questions were raised during the session which the presidium replied to. In order to make the guild vibrant some of the suggestions were put forth by the participants ,particularly the guests , to which guild management assured to ponder upon.
Ms. Hina Khan conducted the proceedings efficiently. Other than above mentioned persons, prominent Kashmiri poet Zareef Ahmad Zareef, Ms. Masooda Rajpuri, Showkat Shafi ,Shamshad Kralwari, Yousuf Shaheen , Saqib Ahmad ,Wajida Tabassum Gurkoo, Rehana Shajar, Er.Shafi Ahmad.Dr Rafi Ahamd , Altaf Hussain , Safeer Ahmad Ms.Mohsina, Aqib Ahmad, Faisal Javid , Ms.Shaista Bukhari, Jahangir Ayaz Hali , and Akhtar Meharaj also participated in the proceedings.
