Srinagar, Jan 23 : A 53-year-old tourist from Gujarat was found unconscious in a hotel in Srinagar’s Rajbagh area and was later declared dead at a hospital on Friday.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the woman, identified as 53-year-old, Jyoti, wife of Sailesh, a resident of Gujarat, was found unconscious at Hotel in Rajbagh.

She was immediately rushed to nearby Hospital, for medical examination. However, doctors at the hospital declared her brought dead, the official said.

Meanwhile, legal formalities have been initiated and further details are awaited. (KNC)
