Hajj pilgrim from Budgam dies in Makkah

A Hajj pilgrim from Central Kashmir’s Budgam district died in the holy city of Makkah on Friday.

As per relatives, He has been identified as Haji Abdul Majeed Son of Mohd Akbar Bhat, 61 years of age, Resident of Devbugh village of Budgam district.

Javid Ahmad Bhat, son of haji Ab Majeed told the Rising Kashmir that we have received that my father died in Saudi Arabia on Friday (June 30).

“This is the first time he has performed his haj at Mecca Shareef, where he left this universe, and he has also been buried in Mecca,” Bhat said.
