Handwara administration reviews relaxation issues amid lockdown

A meeting of concerned officers and representatives of trade bodies was today convened by district administration Kupwara to review issues regarding relaxation in lockdown in view of COVID-19 in subdivision Handwara.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir chaired the meeting and discussed various issues relating to relaxation in lockdown, he also passed on strict directions for proper usage of masks and maintaining social distance in every respect.

He directed the concerned to follow the guide line given by the higher authority in this regard and added that if any person is found violating orders regarding usage of mask the same shall be fined Rs 200 to Rs 500.

The ADC directed the concerned Tehsildars to ensure market checking on daily basis to keep black marketing and hoarding at bay.

Meanwhile, a similar meeting was held at Tangdhar under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah, Bilal Mohiddin Bhat. The SDM appealed to people to ensure usage of masks and maintain social distance during relaxation in lockdown
