Jammu, Nov 16 ,2017 (PTI)

A hardcore criminal has been detained under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) and sent to Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu district, police said today.

According to police, the accused was involved in about a dozen criminal cases in different police station areas of Jammu and Samba districts.

“One hardcore criminal, Manoj alias Moja, was detained in R S Pura yesterday after being booked under PSA”, a police officer said.

The wanted criminal was detained under the PSA after a dossier prepared by the police against him was approved by the district magistrate of Jammu, the officer said.
