However, isolated morning fog is expected to linger over the plains of the Kashmir division in the next 24 hours, reads the advisory from the department.

Qazigund on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway reported a minimum of 1.8 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination in south Kashmir, emerged as the coldest location with a minimum temperature plummeting to -2.0 degrees Celsius.
Kupwara, Kokernag, and the ski resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir reported varying temperatures ranging from 1.0 to 1.8 degrees Celsius.
