Srinagar, Dec 27 (KNC): The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday deferred the hearing of the Public Safety Act (PSA) case pertaining to MLA Mehraj Malik from Doda, officials said.

As per details available with news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), the matter was listed for hearing today; however, due to court holidays, the High Court adjourned the case and fixed the next date of hearing for January 29, 2026.

The case will now be taken up by the High Court on the scheduled date for further proceedings.

The High Court will now take up the matter on January 29, 2026, for further hearing and consideration in the habeas corpus petition challenging Malik’s detention under the PSA. (KNC)
