Srinagar, April 13: The 45th Annual Meeting of the Indian Association for Cancer Research (IACR), along with a four-day international conference on “Advancements in Cancer Research: Discoveries, Therapeutics and Challenges,” concluded on a high note at the University of Kashmir’s main campus.
Organised by the Department of Biochemistry, the conference brought together leading scientists, clinicians, and researchers from across India and abroad, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and knowledge. Over the course of four days, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on emerging trends in cancer research, innovative therapeutic approaches, and the evolving challenges in the field.

The valedictory ceremony featured the prestigious IACR Awards, honouring outstanding contributions and excellence in cancer research. The awards recognised the dedication of researchers striving to advance scientific understanding and improve cancer care.

The conference showcased a vibrant academic environment through insightful keynote lectures, technical sessions, and poster presentations.
