SRINAGAR 22 May : IAS officer Nidhi Malik has been assigned the charge of Administrative Secretary for three departments in the Ladakh Administration, including Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, the Social and Tribal Welfare Department (including ICDS and ICPS), and the Civil Aviation Department.

Malik, who has previously served in Jammu and Kashmir, was transferred from Delhi to the Union Territory in October 2024 by the Ministry of Home Affairs as part of a reshuffle of AGMUT cadre officers. She later served as Deputy Commissioner of Reasi in the Jammu division and was subsequently appointed Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Jammu and Kashmir, in February 2026 during a major administrative reshuffle.

Meanwhile, Mandeep Mittal has been relieved of the additional charge of the Tourism Department with immediate effect.
