Srinagar (J&K): The core committee members of the National Child Development Council (NCDC) in their recent meeting have urged govt & other institutions to ensure implementation of part-time jobs for students in the country.

The members said that besides pursuing educational courses from colleges and other educational institutions, students can earn money, through part-time jobs, to meet their needs.
Regional Administrative Officer Muhammad Rizwan, who is also a member of the NCDC core committee has said that, “if the part-time jobs are given to students particularly in Kerala, it will be good for them, as well as for their parents and society”.
He said that government should intervene into the matter, as in other countries, students in large numbers are working, besides studying.
Similarly, NCDC’s Shakeela has said that, “Not only getting money, implementation of part-time jobs help students in performing social work, while it develops their personality”.
She further said that free training should also be given to aspirants, so that they are trained to undertake professional jobs.
Meanwhile, NCDC Master Trainer Baba Alexander also urged the concerned authorities to ensure implementation of part-time jobs for students, and said that students remain in need of money, while pursuing education.
