Srinagar | Tuesday, 12 September 2017: National Conference Working President and MLA Beerwah, Mr. Omar Abdullah on Tuesdayannounced the allocation of further 2.25 crores for various developmental and infrastructural works in Beerwah Constituency. In a special meeting with party office bearers of all three blocks of Beerwah Constituency held at Party Headquarters ‘Nawa-e-Subha’ in Srinagar, Mr. Omar Abdullah reviewed the status of various developmental initiatives in Beerwah and also reviewed the party activities at the grassroots level.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Omar Abdullah said the focus of politics was the sacred goal of improving the life of a common-man and ensuring all mechanisms are used in a sincere and diligent manner to resolve all public issues and inconveniences. Mr. Omar Abdullah said his endeavour as the elected representative from Beerwah was to ensure the holistic, planned and equitable allocation of resources and funds irrespective of political affiliations and ideologies – a mission that had been implemented in letter and spirit in every nook and corner of the constituency. Mr. Omar Abdullah asked the party functionaries to reach out to the people with the ultimate goal of serving them and ensure all public grievances are highlighted and addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Mr. Omar Abdullah said the Sukhnag Bridge Project would be turned into a reality along the lines of the Beerwah-Budgam Road, the Aripanthan-Khag Road and other similar successful initiatives that have benefited thousands of locals.
Mr. Omar Abdullah asked the party functionaries to continue with their work of strengthening the party at the grassroots level and reach out to more and more youth and involve them in constructive party activities aimed at ushering the State into another corrective era of peace, progress and stability. The meeting was also attended by Political Secretary to Working President Mr. Tanvir Sadiq and Senior Party Leader and Constituency In-charge Professor Abdul Majeed Matoo besides party Block Presidents and senior activists.
