In a first, Diwali Celebrated at Sharda Peth Temple in Teethwal

Karnah, October 23 : For the first time after independence, Diwali was celebrated at Sharda Peth Temple in Teethwal Village near LoC.  The local population with the chairman of Sharda Peth Committe Ravindra Pandita celebrated the diwali with full zeal and zest at Sharda Peth Temple in Teethwal Karnah and presented a great example of brotherhood between the Hindu Muslim community. 
It should be noted the the reconstruction of Sharda Peeth in Teethwal was stared early this year, this is the first occasion in which Diwali is celebrated at Sharda Peth after the partition of India and Pakistan.  Speaking to KNS Ravindera Pandita said that Diwali is the festival of victory of good over evil.  He also demanded to open a corridor between the Teethwal and the PoK for the pilgrimage of Shardha Peth in PoK.
