Prominent Socio activist Inam Un Nabi has loathed the banking mechanism, especially the Jammu and Kashmir Bank for putting traders into grave trouble in these testing times of Coronavirus.

Inam affirmed that we all know Kashmir is under lockdown almost since August 5 with no internet facility initially and then 2g speed which is good for nothing. These people have been deducting monthly charges for POS machine (Card swipe) when they know there’s barely any footfall, local businesses are suffering tremendously and adding insult to the injury, is communication (internet) blockade of so many months reduced business activity to zero.

Inam appealed the Honourable Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandar Murmu to initiate wide ranging steps to ensure that traders of Kashmir get much needed relief who have already seen much troubled times .

Inam Un Nabi made it clear that it is the people of Jammu & Kashmir and traders who have made JK Bank an Institute of great strength and letting them down at this critical juncture is a huge mistake.

If banks claims that they are business partner why don’t they understand the problem of the traders, Inam lamented.
