Raid Still Going On at new and old residence of Imtiyaz Ah Kawoosa
Income Tax Department on Thursday raided two malls and a school in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
The M/S Mall, City walk mall and GD Goenka School are belonging to the prominent businessman Imtiyaz Ah Kawoosa
The raid is still going on at the old residence of Kawoosa at Nowhatta and at his new residence as well in Nishat.
Imtiyaz Ahmad Kawoosa son of Ghulam Qadir of Nishat and Manzoor Ahmad Shah son of Haji Mohammad Shafi of Rajbagh are considered as prominent business partners of the valley.
Meanwhile the Rajbagh residence of Manzoor Ah Shah has also been raided by sleuths of income tax department.
It is pertinent to mention that in the ongoing raids sleuths of income tax department are also accompanied by JK Police and CRPF for security reasons.
However it wasn’t known immediately what’s were the ifs and buts of the raid.(CNS)
