International Athlete & General Secretary Wushu Association Baramulla Jabeena Akhter passes away

Jabeena Akhter, a renowned international athlete and General Secretary of the Wushu Association in Baramulla, passed away on Friday after a brief illness. 

Jabeena Akhter, who was also the Secretary of the district Rowing Association in Baramulla, was known for her philanthropic work, using her honorarium to help the needy and starving.

A resident of Tangmarg in Baramulla, Jabeena Akhter had guided hundreds of athletes and was revered for her passion for sports and numerous achievements. Her sudden and shocking death has left the sports community in mourning.

The Gulmarg Ski Patrol Team expressed its deepest condolences, saying that Jabeena Akhter will be dearly missed. The team also prayed for her highest place in paradise.

Jabeena’s contributions to the world of sports will always be remembered and her legacy will continue to inspire athletes in the region.
