Internet services restored in Kashmir after two-hour gag at midnight

The services were snapped to counter the “Kashmir Awareness Campaign” called by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL).

Internet services were restored in Kashmir valley around midnight after remaining suspended for over two hours.

JRL had called for ‘online protests’ to raise awareness on the “atrocities in Kashmir by Indian forces and impress upon world bodies to help in the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue”.

However, both mobile Internet and Broadband services were suspended around 10 pm.

The services were restored at midnight.
