Iran’s Assembly of Experts Elects Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s New Supreme Leader

Tehran, March 4: Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the Martyr Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, has been elected as Iran’s new Supreme Leader by the Assembly of Experts, as per the report by Iran International.

As per the Iran International, “This decision is a major turning point in Iran’s history, as it marks the first time power has been passed down within the same family since the 1979 revolution, effectively making it a dynastic succession.”
