J & K doctor honored by World Book of Records, London

Srinagar, January 30: Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, a distinguished J & K doctor, medical educator, public health fellow and writer from Anantnag Jammu & Kashmir, India, has been formally included in the World Book of Records, London and awarded with a Certificate of Excellence (E1 Category) for his eminent service and sustained impact in healthcare delivery, health education, and community empowerment.

The recognition has been conveyed through an official Inclusion Letter dated 23 January 2026, issued by the World Book of Records, an internationally recognised organisation dedicated to cataloguing and honouring exceptional achievements across diverse fields.

The E1 category is designated to honour and recognize exceptional achievements, distinguished service, or notable contributions in various fields. The recognition spans academic, professional, social, and humanitarian efforts. Awardees are acknowledged for their dedication, leadership, or impact, thereby setting benchmarks of excellence and motivating future generations to emulate their accomplishments.

Reacting to the honour, Dr. Itoo expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing equitable healthcare, strengthening health education, and empowering communities through evidence-based public health initiatives.

Pertinently, The World Book of Records, London, is an internationally recognised organisation that honours remarkable achievements, exceptional contributions, and world-class excellence across academic, professional, social, and humanitarian fields.
