 Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti greeted people on Ram Navami and hoped that this occasion would be the harbinger of peace and prosperity in the state.

In his message, the governor observed that the celebration of festivals, which are an important part of our glorious heritage, strengthens communal harmony and brotherhood.

The chief minister hoped the occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the state.

Mufti said Jammu and Kashmir takes pride in its multi-religious and multi-cultural ethos which has given it a special place in the country. (PTI)
