Annual Drama Festival inaugrated
Theatre Lovers hail efforts of Cultural Academy

Annual Drama Festival, a prestigious activity of J&K Cultural Academy, was inaugrated here today at Tagore Hall, Srinagar. The festival could not be organised pervious year owing to Covid-19 Pendamic.
Noted theatre personality Mr. Bashir Dada was chief guest on the occassion.
A number of theatre lovers, perfoming artists , Play wrights and dignitories were present on the occassion.
Mrs. Farhat Aara Lone incharge officer of Kashmir Office of the Academy in her welcome speach said that it is endeour of the Academy to organise this activity as owing to many reasons the activity could not be organised in the previous year. She praised the theatre lovers for cooprating with the JKAACL in organising this festival despite of many odds.
Tradional ISBAND was lit marking inaugration of the event.
Mr. Bashir Dada while compliting the Academy remembered the theatre personalities who have contributed a lot to contemporary theatre in Kashmir.
On the inagural day Kashmiri Play “WUTRE BINUEL” written by legendry Sajood Sailani was presented by Mehak Dramatic Club Srinagr. The Play was directed by Farhat Sidiqi.
