UMER RATHER Provincial Secretary J&K for JKPM stated jkPM was the first party to move apex court to challenge abrogation of article 370 & downgrading of state of J& k into two union territories by filing comprehensive public interest litigation title shah faesal & ors v/s union of India & ors which is still subjudice before constitutional bench of Supreme Court.JKPM has full faith on the wisdom of Supreme Court & will fight with full vigour before Supreme Court & other forums for restoration of special status .
Umer Rather had strongly castigated the political & said that oppurtunitism of certain political groups who are trying to mislead the people by their repeated rhetorics.These people are not more than political pawns who could stoop to any thing for lust of power.
The abrupt abrogation of article 370 and bifurcation of state jolted not only the state but also shocked the political pundits across the globe.Certain political and break away sections began lobbying and political sectarianism to grab the power but JKPM always stood for the special identity ot the state.said Umer Rather
He further said that JKPM is another name of sacrifices which was proved by its founder and patron dr Shah faesal who spent months in incarceration without any compromise and agreement.JKPM stands for justice and return of special identity of the state.
He reiterated that JKPM would always stand with the special identity of the state,return of article 370 and statehood for which it can give any sacrifice.He said that JKPM believes in political resolution of vexed issue with out any violence and integration of youth in the political process.
He said that the dream of peaceful and progressive state as envisioned by JKPM and its patron dr Shah faesal would always strive for its core agenda of peace and peaceful resolution without any camaflouge and coverup.
He emphasized that JKPM under dr Shah faesal will go to any peaceful measure to realise the dream of a progressive and developmental region of the country..
