Srinagar, October 11 : All Jammu based reserved category employees, rendering their services in  Kashmir, continued their protest demonstration on the 133 consecutive day here today.
They are sitting on protest dharna since June, raising slogans and demanding redressal of their genuine demands and issues in the wake of selective and target killings of non-local employees including that of Rajni Bala, who was serving as a teacher at Government High School, Gopalpora, in district Kulgam in Kashmir Division.
The demands included framing of a concrete Inter-district / Inter-division  Transfer Policy and implementation of the same in time bound manner after fixing a tenure of 5-years of services in Kashmir Valley, utilization of services of employees posted in various districts of Kashmir division in their respective home districts and  not to pressurize the Jammu based employees to resume their duties or in any manner whatsoever it may be in these prevailing circumstances till the ground situation becomes conducive in Valley.
