SRINAGAR 16 May : The High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh has announced a 15-day summer vacation for district courts falling under the summer zone of Jammu province in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a notification issued by the Registrar General’s office, the vacation will be observed from June 8 to June 22, 2026, both days inclusive.

The notification stated that the schedule will apply to district courts in the Jammu summer zone, excluding courts in Kishtwar and Doda districts, as well as courts located at Batote, Gool, Banihal and Ukhral in Ramban district, and Bani in Kathua district.

The High Court has directed the Principal District and Sessions Judges and Chief Judicial Magistrates of the concerned districts to make appropriate arrangements for the disposal of urgent criminal matters during the vacation period within their respective jurisdictions.
