SRINAGAR 09 Jun : Two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were injured after a convoy bus reportedly went out of control and collided with two vehicles near Peerah on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) on Tuesday.

According to reports, the accident occurred after the bus developed a brake failure while travelling along the highway, causing it to crash into the vehicles.

The incident affected traffic flow on the busy highway, prompting authorities to close the uptube and divert traffic through the downtube to ensure the continued movement of vehicles.

The injured BSF personnel were evacuated to a medical facility for treatment.

Officials are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, while traffic personnel were deployed to manage and regulate traffic in the affected area.
