The culprit of the Trikuta Nagar, Jammu rape case has been arrested by the cops.
Ajay Kumar s/o Som Nath who had ran away from the crime spot was found in Samba by the special team of Police led by SDPO East, DYSP Vikram Kumar, SHO Trikuta Nagar Deepak Pathania and SI Mohammad Iqbal.
The case took place on 9th December when the culprit ( a localite if Jammu) forcefully touched a girl belonging to Chhattisgarh and raped her. Her family filed an FIR in the Trikuta Nagar Police Station after the girl’s statement and they started the investigation.
The family used to live as tenants in Ajay’s house. They claimed him to be in drugs and done the same incident with two other girls of the area. But this time they wanted justice.
Ajay’s family denied the incident and defended him but the allegations were strong enough to prove them wrong. They beat the girl’s brother and even threatened her family to take back the case. The courage of the family was greater than the blackmailing. The culprit has been arrested on the basis of 2 FIRs based on rape and melee.
