Jammu-Srinagar Highway blocked due to shooting stones in Ramban

The Jammu-Srinagar national highway was on Monday blocked at Panthyal and Cafeteria Morh in Ramban district on Monday, said officials.

Fresh rains triggered shooting stones and mudslides at Panthyal and Cafeteria Morh in Ramban on Monday morning, he said.

In a tweet, J&K Traffic Police informed, “Jammu Srinagar NHW blocked due to Continuous shooting stones at Cafeteria -Ramban and Panthyal.”

Meanwhile MeT office Srinagar has issued an advisory which reads as 

“Weather very likely to remain cloudy with intermittent Light rain/thunderstorm, snowfall over hills with strong surface wind of JandK today and from 4-5th.”
