Today Janata Dal (United) General Secretary Aijaz Ibrahim Khan condemns the innocent civilian killings in Pulwama yesterday.  He said it was a cold blooded murder which is intolerable and Kashmiris will not be silenced by such suppressive measures. Killing of innocent persons in valley shows that Government of India has given free hand to its forces to kill Kashmiri people. Instead of providing employment to Kashmiri youth, they are being killed and harassed which is unfortunate. Authorities must exercise maximum restraint while dealing with protestors and ensure that no innocent civilian is harmed.

Aijaz said killings are highly condemnable and need impartial and time-bound probe. The guilty must be punished and a mechanism evolved so that such incidents aren’t repeated.
