Party leaders and workers recalled the invaluable contributions of Maulana Masoodi to Kashmir’s political and cultural life, remembering him as a committed ideologue and a revered mass leader who stood firmly for the rights and aspirations of the people.

Maulana Mohammad Sayeed Masoodi also holds a unique place in Kashmir’s history as the author of the iconic anthem “Lehra o Kashmir ke Jhandey, har su lehra, har dam lehra, taab-e-qayamat tak tu lehra,” which continues to resonate as a symbol of identity and collective spirit.

On the occasion, prayers were offered for the departed soul, with party members seeking eternal peace and forgiveness for him.

Allah maghfirat kare.
