J&K Bank Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed has expressed heartfelt condolence on the demise of Dr Sonam Dawa Lonpo, Chief Executive Councilor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council.
In his condolence message, Parvez said, “A distinguished leader and an outstanding public figure, Dr. Sonam was a rare combination of intellect, zeal and humbleness.

A stalwart and visionary, his contribution and passion for the development of Ladakh are exemplary contributions.”

“While I am writing this, I am reminded of his unparalleled and deep commitment for the wellbeing of the people of Ladakh during our discussions on role of banking for socio economic development of the Ladakh region in November last.”

“Words though are inadequate at a time like this on the loss of Dr. Sonam, I on behalf of J&K Bank family convey our deepest sympathies to the bereaved family. His legacy will continue to inspire the people of Ladakh,” the chairman said.
