Srinagar: The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday spoke with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand regarding the reported assault on a young Kashmiri shawl seller in the hill state.
During the conversation, the J&K Chief Minister strongly urged strict action against those involved in the incident and emphasized the need to ensure justice for the victim. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand assured that stringent action would be taken in the matter, including the registration of an FIR.
He further assured that the safety and security of residents of Jammu and Kashmir living or working in Uttarakhand would be ensured and that such incidents would be dealt with firmly.
