J&K Dy CM conducts surprise inspection of PWD office, Gandhi Nagar Hospital

Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, today conducted surprise inspection of Chief Engineer R&B Jammu office and Government Hospital Gandhinagar.

The Deputy Chief Minister, while interacting with the staff there, maintained that the government is committed to ensure speedy and hassle free deliverance of public services to the people. He asked the officials to ensure that the people don’t face any inconvenience while availing the facilities meant for them.

He also directed the hospital authorities to ensure that the patients are provided with quality healthcare facilities. He said that it should be ensured that benefits of health related policies are provided to them without any fail.

Later, several deputations met with the Deputy Chief Minister at Civil Secretariat and apprised him of their issues and concerns.

A delegation of Secretariat Employees raised several service related issues and sought redressal. Deputation of PM package aspirants highlighted issue of de-reservation of category posts.

Similarly, deputations from Ramban, Rajouri, Doda and Kathua projected issues pertaining to development of their respective areas.

The Deputy Chief Minister, while interacting with deputations, assured that the issues projected by them would be looked into for timely and proper redressal.
