MUMBAI, Sep 14: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said Jammu and Kashmir is now fully integrated with India, asserting that the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A was carried out without bloodshed or the firing of a single bullet.

Addressing reporters Amit Shah, placed the constitutional change at the centre of the Central Government’s achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing it as a defining step towards strengthening India’s territorial and constitutional unity.

On Jammu and Kashmir, Amit Shah described the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A as a major achievement of the government, saying the changes were implemented without bloodshed.

He asserted that as a result, Jammu and Kashmir had become fully integrated with the rest of the country.

The Union Home Minister linked the decision to the government’s wider national-security approach and its efforts to reinforce India’s territorial and constitutional unity.

The Home Minister reiterated the government’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, citing the surgical strikes, air strikes and Operation Sindoor as examples of India’s response to terror threats.

He said these operations demonstrated India’s determination to protect its national security and respond firmly to attacks against the country, drawing a direct line between the government’s Kashmir policy and its broader counter-terror posture.
