Srinagar, June 29 : To ensure accurate information for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2024, the Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday designated specific officials for media interactions and press briefings.
As per the order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and inspector General of Police have been designated for media interactions and press briefings for Kashmir Division while as in Jammu, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Additional Director General of Police have been tasked with the responsibility.

The officials have been tasked with ensuring that all information provided to the public regarding the Yatra is accurate and up-to-date.
The officials will also work closely with the Information Department of Jammu and Kashmir and the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board to maintain consistent and coordinated communication efforts, reads the order.
