“Increasing these pensions is not just about assistance—it’s our commitment to an inclusive and caring welfare state,” said CM Omar Abdullah, emphasizing the government’s dedication to social justice and dignity for vulnerable sections of society.

The move is expected to bring significant relief to thousands of beneficiaries, reinforcing the administration’s focus on welfare-driven governance. More details on the revised pension structure are awaited.
