Srinagar, September 21 : The Jammu and Kashmir Government has released ₹2,211.88 crore during the current financial year for implementation of several key beneficiary-oriented schemes across the Union Territory, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah informed the Legislative Assembly during the ongoing session.
In a post on X, Office of CM wrote, During the ongoing Session of the J&K Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister informed the House that the Government is funding several key beneficiary-oriented schemes from its own resources.”
“During the current financial year, ₹2,211.88 crore has been released to the Social Welfare, Health & Medical Education, Tribal Affairs, School Education, Industries & Commerce and Agriculture Production Departments, of which ₹1,325.07 crore has already been utilised to support beneficiaries across Jammu & Kashmir,” the post reads.
