On May 10, weather is likely to remain mostly dry till evening, followed by brief showers at a few places during evening and night hours.

The MeT department has forecast generally cloudy conditions from May 11 to 13 with one or two spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places across Jammu and Kashmir. Hailstorms, thunder, and gusty winds are also expected at a few places during this period.

An advisory issued by the department warned of the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 40-50 kmph at isolated places in both Kashmir and Jammu divisions from the evening/night of May 10 till May 13.

Farmers have been advised to continue farm operations till May 10 in view of the expected weather conditions.
