J&K police name has been replaced by LADAKH POLICE in Union territory of Ladakh

The order issued by IGP Ladakh S.S Khandare (IPS) reads, “It is here by ordered that whenever organisational name “J&K Police” is written on any sigh boards, police, vehicles, letter heads, official stationeries, seals and other official items of U. T Police Ladakh should be replaced by the word “LADAKH POLICE” in capital letter henceforth.”
“No police officer/official shsll put on president police collar insignia of J&K Police,” the order further reads adding that the order had the approval of the competent authority.
