SRINAGAR: (Apr 22) Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday attached a property allegedly acquired through proceeds of drug trafficking, officials said.

The property, a double-storey house valued at Rs 31.65 lakh, belongs to Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, a resident of Vishroo Payeen Keller in south Kashmir, a police spokesperson said.

He said the property was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal trade of drugs and narcotics. ( PTI )
