The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association delegation on Tuesday visited the residence of eminent Islamic scholar and Rector of Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah, Bandipora, Moulana Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi, to offer condolences over the passing of his revered mother, Misra Begum, who breathed her last after a prolonged illness.
Expressing grief, the Association said that; “We are deeply saddened to learn about the demise of Misra Begum Sahiba, mother of Moulana Rehmatullah Qasmi Sahab. May Allah (SWT) grant her the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive her shortcomings, and envelop her in His infinite mercy. May He also grant the family patience, strength, and solace during this difficult time.”
A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association, led by National Convenor Nasir Khuehami and Tribal Affairs Wing President Arshad Lone, visited the residence of Moulana Qasmi to personally offer condolences and express solidarity with the bereaved family.
The Association said that Moulana Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi, through his decades of service as a respected Islamic scholar, teacher, and guide, has profoundly influenced thousands of students and scholars across Jammu and Kashmir and beyond. His mother, Misra Begum, played a pivotal role in shaping his early life and nurturing the values of faith, compassion, and humility that he embodies today. Her demise, therefore, is not just a personal loss to the family but also a moment of grief for the wider community that holds Moulana Qasmi in the highest esteem.
The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association reaffirmed its support and solidarity with Moulana Qasmi and his family in this hour of grief.
