J&k to Receive Light Rain or Snow at Many places from tonight till feb 20 : MeT

Srinagar, Feb 19: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a fresh spell of rain and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir from February 19-20.

According to the forecast, higher reaches of Chenab Valley and South Kashmir can expect moderate snowfall of 7-12 inches, while North and Central Kashmir can look forward to 4-8 inches of snowfall.

Plains of Jammu may receive light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds at few places, while scattered places can expect light rain/snow on February 24-25.

MeT also predicted Generally cloudy weather with Light to moderate rain/snow at many places of Jammu and Kashmir.

The weather department has advised tourists, travelers, and transporters to follow administrative and traffic advisories.
