To Celebrate Children day at Poonch As a part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav
Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Rajouri/ Poonch today organised on the spot painting competition here at Boys Hr Secondary School Poonch. Large number of students from Govt and Private schools participated in the event.
The event was hosted under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL,Sh. Rahul Panday IAS and closely monitored by Additional Secretary JKAACL, Sanjeev Rana.
Almost 300 hundreds of young budding artists participated and made on the spot paintings on different topics, the event held with due adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
The event was held with the support of district administration and Chief Education officer Poonch, Principal Govt Boys Hr Secondary School Poonch Sh Sudarshan Sharma who extend full support including providing of all logistic support.
Sh Abdul Majid Chief Education officer,Poonch also visited the spot and appreciated the outstanding works done by some young artists.
Mr Tariq Mehmood Saifi alongwith other two jury members namely Mr Umer Hassan and Shazeb Qayoom evaluated the work done by young artists..
In his address, Dr. Alamdar Adam, Special officer for cultural Activities Rajouri-Poonch, expressed gratitude to Chief Education officer Poonch and Principal Govt Hr secondary school Boys Poonch who provided all kind of support for successful conduct of such event.he also thanked parents of young artists their school heads , electronic and print media for their cooperation to conduct of such activity.
