Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader Ghulam Hassan Mir Tuesday welcomed the shifting of PDP cheif Mehbooba Mufti to her residence and appealed Government of India to release all political detainees lodged in and outside jails.

Mir said the shifting of Mehbooba Mufti to her residence is a welcome step and I hope she will be allowed to walk freely in coming days.
He said GoI should ensure release of all political detainees who are lodged in and outside jails since long and urged central government to allow political activities freely in J&K which is a soul of democracy.
“I hope in days to come situation would be more conducive and the entire J&K will again witness pre-August 5, 2019 like political activities”, Mir said.
